I have been crocheting for as long as I can remember. My mother taught me how while I was in grade school. I can remember many days...sitting with her as we crocheted after school. She learned from her mother...who learned from her mother...and so on as far back as we know. I've made many different things...afghans, doileys, tableclothes, runners, dolls and toys.
